Capital Radio 9-22: Autumn Comes A’Knockin’

The autumnal equinox occurred in the middle of the Sept. 22 episode of Capital Radio, so naturally there were songs about the end of summer, the coming of fall, and the thing gravity does to leaves.

But there were a number of birthdsys to note, from King Sunny Ade, turning 79, to Joan Jett, 67, and Nick Cave, 68. Also: Christian Wargo of Fleet Foxes, Matt Sharp of Weezer, bassist Doug Wimbish, R&B singer Marlena Shaw, Toni Basil ,and the guy from Right Said Fred.
