Capital Radio 11-10: ‘Nebraska ’82’ and More

The songs that spooked the Boss — spare demos of death and bad deeds that became the “Nebraska” album — are the subject of a new movie “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” and an expanded boxed set, “Nebraska ’82.” We explore it a bit on today’s Capital Radio, but also take time to pay tribute to the recently departed original Squeeze drummer Gilson Lavis and Grateful Dead vocalist Donna Godchaux.

Today was also the birthday of Looney Toons composer Carl Stalling and Sinatra arranger Billy May, the one-hit Dave Loggins, Alice Cooper guitarist Glen Buxton, Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Warren G, Eve, Tim Rice and Diplo.
