y’know how everyone’s normal til you get to know them ? well, doing a daily radio style vanity project for a tiny but tasteful group of regulars might seem normal but I’m sure it’s not. is this the retirement promised after a grueling career in actual broadcasting? I mean I’ve done radio for fun and profit since 1972 (and that’s not counting the pirate years in high school) I know, I used to joke to management that I’d do it for free and now here I am living that very ‘dream or ‘joke’, whichever. couldn’t be happier (though I miss the free vinyl, subway coupons and rolling papers)
